Alwyn and Barry,
Bedd y Coedwr is located south of Trawsfynydd at SH742282. It's closer
to Ganllwyd and near the confluence of the Afon Cain and the Afon Mawddach.

Dear Alwyn
I can relate that Enwogion Y Ffydd confirms William Williams o'r Wern was
deeply impressed by hearing a sermon delivered by Rhys Dafis at
Bedd-y-Coedwr and we are told that he was about 13 years old and as he was
born in 1781 your date of 1794 would seem right. William Williams went on to
become a member of the old chapel of Penystryd, Trwasfynydd before his 15th
birthday. I cannot find any trace of Bedd-y-Coedwr now and I wonder if it
was submerged by Llyn Trawsfynydd following the construction of the
Maentwrog Dam in 1928.
Not very helpful in finding your sonorous Sarah I'm afraid but confirms the
date.
Best wishes,
Barry
