Llanuwchllyn/ Who died on Wednesday/ June 9th 1869/ aged 53 years.
In the loss of gentle Mrs Robert horrid

Despite the darkness of death and its tides of anguish
She no longer aches she wears her crown
(This is a poem known as an Englyn - its main feature is the way in which
the letters in one half of each line are answered in the second half -
something that I don't have the skill to show in a translation)

14th 1883/ aged 82 years.
He was a useful deacon/ With the Calvinistic Methodists/ for most of his
life/ this was notable in respect of / hard work and religious generosity/.
Also he worked/ with devotion and generosity/ in the cause of education and/
Liberalism.
