Hi Basil,
Here are the coordinates for most of the references:
- Cwm Tylo - slightly over a mile west of Parc, near Bala: O.S.
reference SH 848339
- Fron Gastell - about a mile due north of Llanuwchllyn near Caer Gai:
O.S. Reference SH 872318
- Rafel (R'Efail?) possibly Rhyd yr Efail, Parc, near Bala: O.S.
Reference SH 874345
And further to the east beyond Y Bala:
- Cynlas about half a mile to the west of Cefnddwysarn at SH 953382
Couldn't find Trawscoed, although it sounds familiar.

"This couple was Cadwaladr Rhobert and Sian Huws. They were my mother's
great grandparents and they had at least two children - probably more -
called Rhobert Cadwaladr and Llywelyn Cadwaldr. Rhobert married Marged
daughter of Frongastell and they had at least four children. I will return
later to this family. Llywelyn married Sian Rhobert
daughter of Rafel of the same family as Mr Ellis, Cynlas, but they had no
children. They were a notable old couple who spent a long happy life at
Cwmtylo. I saw an old tobacco pipe and box which belonged to this Llywelyn
many times at Trawsgoed, an old German pipe and I saw some old fellows
smoking a similar one in the Bavarian and Tyrol valleys."
