Hello Jenny,
Sorry I missed this message when you last sent it.
Yes. St. John's Barmouth is in the Dolgelley District (Dolgelley is now
known as Dolgellau). St John's is a very prominent church that is on the
cliffs that tower over the town of Barmouth - very impressive! Here is a
picture of it:

If you e-mail Dylan (the superintendent registrar at Dolgellau) he is
usually willing to provide details from his marriage records database,
without the need to pay for a copy certificate:
DylanNJones(a)gwynedd.gov.uk
When you obtain the details can you post them to the list? I, and other list
members; have Humphreys, Williams and Barmouth connections in our family
trees. Although I can't see a connection between your research and mine at
the moment, what you find out next could be the elusive link!
All the best
Alwyn

Pwnc/Subject: [MER] Humphreys/Williams marriage
I sent this request in a while back and never received an answer. Would
someone be so kind as to let me know the answer of the question I asked.
Thanks you,
Jenny
The above couple married in St. Johns Church at Barmouth, Merioneth in
1906. In the free BDM they are listed as being married in the District of
Dolgelly.
Would St. Johns Church of Barmouth be in the district of Dolgelly.
Thanks, Jenny
