The area south of Bala was in the Diocese of St Asaph, so I would
start with the book titled "Esgobaeth Llanelwy" by David Richard
Thomas, which is written in English. There are several versions of
the book on line through Google Books, and I think a version on
Archive Books
The book is divided into two parts. First, a history of the
Established Church in the Diocese from early times, and second, a
parish by parish history which lists the names of rectors/vicars from
the early 17th century until the mid-1800's.
I think it's an excellent source regarding the Established Church in
Wales - propagandist of course, but no more so than the tomes
dedicated to the History of Methodism or other non-conformist sects.

Please, can anyone tell me where and how to learn more about the
ministers, etc. of the Established Church[would that be Church of
England?] during the period from c1700 through 1725?
I'm looking mostly at the area southward from Bala.
I live in California so that online or books would be most readily
accessed by me.
Thank you in advance
