Do you have a date of death for Evan Roberts? I have several Evan Roberts
from North Wales in my family tree but it is such a frequent name!

2OCT1815 birth at Fach Goch? That would be Evan Roberts, also my great great
grandfather, son of John Roberts and Catherine Roberts (nee Jones).
According to Russel A Bankson, in his unpublished manuscript (c.1950s),
"'Fach Goch' stands today as it did a hundred and twenty-five years ago, a
solid two-story stone building, in the valley adjacent to the sleepy little
saltwater hamlet of Towyn-on-the-Sea, in North Wales. Then as now, it was an
old and weathered and comfortable-looking, against its peaceful background
of low mountains, forest trees and green vegitation (sic). The exact age of
'Fach Goch' is not known, but for generations it was the citadel of the
Roberts family..."
