I have a marriage of a Jane ELLIS, Llanddwywe, who married David OWEN, widower,
Llanaber, 04 Jun 1825 by Griffith Owen, Rector; witnesses were John Owen and William
Price.
Children of this couple:
Elinor or Ellen Owen, 25 Apr 1826
Mary Owen, 05 Apr 1828
Ann Owen, 10 Aug 1832
Owen David Owen, 28 Aug 1835
Jane Owen, 15 Dec 1837
David OWEN is actually my ancestor (brother to my gggrandfather, Griffith Owen). I do not
have any other information regarding Jane ELLIS, other than she must have died before the
1841 census. On the 1841 census, David OWEN is shown at Goetre Uchaf (Civil Parish:
Gwyddelwern; Hundred: Ardudwy) with his children and mother, Mary DAVID. I do not know
where Jane ELLIS OWEN is buried. David OWEN married a third time to Margaret _____. David
and Margaret OWEN are buried at Horeb Chapel, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Llanenddwyn.
If you think you are connected to this Jane ELLIS OWEN, I have quite a bit of information
about the children of this couple.
