Also, the name Prichard is often spelled with a T - Pritchard - and there are a lot of
people who changed their spellings over the years. Go to Rootsweb and search all the
spellings, or ap Richard, ap Richards, and ap Owen (there are a lot of Catherine Owens in
PA back then so an ap Owen could be her father).
Look for Tewdwr - not just Tudor - see this -

Welsh spellings are incredible. Such as, the name is Penmachno, or Cwm Penmachno - not
Penmancho -
Just don't stick with one thing because that's what you've been told. Tales
and records can be wrong, think outside the box.
