made connection with Alan Jones and I have in the meantime discovered that
Humphrey Lloyd's descendants are very very and very numerous! Oh dear!

I guess you know the old story that the Lloyds of Defeity were descendants
of Rhirid Flaidd.
The difficulty with this particular branch of the Lloyds is the location
of the farm, which was close enough to Llangwm for new arrivals to be
baptized there, so the story goes.
I have Lloyds in Llangwm and thought they might be connected to the
Defeity family, but drew a blank.
