The place name "Maesyfallen" may be Maesyfelin which means meadow of the
mill. Others may offer their explanation.

There are a number of lines which descend in America from a 'minister of the
established church'. They go back to Rhirid Flaidd, Lord of Penllyn. He
lived in Llanuwchllyn, as well as other places.
