The David Jones referred to died in Caernarvon Twp Berks County PA and is buried in Bangor
Churchyard in Churchtown Lancaster County PA[Pennsylvania] The dates of birth and death
are as recorded on his tombstone there.

Do you know where in America he went? He was most likely here during the
American Revolution. If you have a State name, the DAR/SAR Daughters and
Sons of the American Revolution might be able to help you.
I found a David Jones that was born Aug 1709 in Merioneth and he died 1784
Bangor Maine, USA He was buriied in the Bangor Churchyard, Reading,
Pennsylvania. This difference in Stae of Death and buriel seems a little
odd, but not impossable.
This Davis Jones was married to Elizabeth Davies on 10 May 1735 and she was
born in 1713 Pennsylvania. I don't know if this one is yours, but, it seems
to have some good points. If he is yours you could check with the SAR in PA.
