Hi Jenny
I know our correspondence took place almost a year ago but I have at last
proved to my satisfaction that my Margaret REES and yours are one and the
same. Margaret was my husband's g.g.grandmother and married Jesse JAMES in
1868 in Souldrop, Bedfordshire. They had 7 children Frank b. 1869 who was my
husband's g.grandfather, Harry b. 1870, Effie b. 1872, Evan Rees b. 1974,
Leonard James b 1875, William Gell b. 1878 and Mabel b. 1882. Jesse died in
1883 and Margaret remaried to Thomas CUFF of Chard, Somerset who had a
confectionary shop in Rushden, Northants. Margaret died in 1918 in Kettering
I'd be interested to know how you are related to this family

In our distant family I have a Margaret Rees born in 1843 in
Barmouth,
Her
father was Evan Rees, born 1812 in Dolgelley. Evan was married to Anne
Jones, b 1817 in Barmouth. They had six children, Dorothy, John,
Margaret,
Anne, Evan and Thomas.
Is this any connection to your Margaret Rees.
