Hello Lindsay,
Thank you for your reply. I am always keeping my eyes open for the
possability that someone else is looking for my same people. I know that I
have some not to distant cousins that live over there and would love to find
them and more information on my ancestors. As a matter of fact, I was sent a
picture of a grave marker of a cousin in Llanfairtalhaiarn and there are
flowers on the grave! So there are people there that I am related to that
might even know more of our family history than I do.
It's slow going, but never quit!

Hello Barbara
No connection unfortunately. My Merioneth Robertses were from Llandanwg
on the coast, then they gradually moved east thru Llanfihangel y traethau
then Maentwrog and Trawsfynydd and eventually landing up in Blaenau
Ffestiniog in the late 1880s (along with thousands of other Robertses!).
I've got another line of Robertses but they are from Montgomery -
Llanfyllin. To date I haven't found any from the Bala area ...... but I'm
working hard on tracking them down (progress is slow!!) so I'll look out
for a Bala connection.
Thanks for getting in touch. It's good to know there are others out there
struggling with Robertses.
