Thanks Allan (as for help with Penrhyndeudraeth in the past!)
The interesting part of this story is that WGD married a young woman
(Elizabeth Ellen JONES, known as 'Nellie') from Penrhyn who had come
to Australia with my grandmother in August 1914. Sadly, Nellie died in
about 1930.
I only found out about the connection to me because Nellie's younger
sister is alive and well and still living in Penrhyn, aged 106! (or
was so about a year ago).

Hi David
I have Pages 1-35 (printed) of the Penrhyndeudraeth census (part of RG
12/4644 Llanfihangel y Traethau).
I can't find your William or Maggie there, but I do have the complete
fiche but will need a day or so to check unless someone else can do so
in the meantime.
Regards
Allan Hobbs
