The fiche is one of the Bishop's transcripts for St Celynin's which is available
for purchase from the National Library of Wales.
Antony (in the BT's not AntHony) and Catherine Morgan have three children baptized in
this period
Feb 11 1844 Anne Clerk daughter of Antony and Catherine Morgan of Hendre (Father's
Occupation) Gentleman
Feb 11th Hugh son of Antony and Catherine Morgan of Hendre (Father's Occupation)
Gentleman
And then on the following Sunday:
Feb 18th Margaret daughter of Antony and Catherine Morgan of Hendre (Father's
Occupation) Gentleman.
There is nothing to suggest that they were adult baptisms in the record, but if they were
infant triplets then one would have expected them to have been baptised on the same day.
The week's gap suggests that they might have been adults. A person not Christened in
the Church of England would not have been allowed to marry (or witness a marriage) in the
Church at that time.
I have looked back in the records to 1816, but can't find any other reference to
Ant(h)ony Morgan in the parish, which suggests that he was not native to the area.
The "Clerk" in Anne's name, suggests that she may be an illegitimate child
or a child from a previous marriage of Catherine's.
