Yes, I have the Civil record of marriage. That is what led me here. I was hoping to get
a little more information on them.
Which fiche are you referring to? I am not in Wales and so would have to order microfilms
or research from some location or person.
Perhaps you could help me with some additional information about the church. The wife in
this marriage is very careful to always use her middle name "Clarke". Her
father is listed as Anthony Morgan, gentleman, and an Anthony Thomas Morgan is a witness
for the marriage (b. 1811? d. 1855?). There is an extracted record for an Anne Clarke
Morgan christened in this parish on 11 Feb 1844 just three days prior to this marriage. A
Hugh Morgan with the same parents (Anthony Morgan & Catherine) is christened the same
day (see
www.familysearch.org for the extractions). I am curious to know if it is
possible that Anne Clarke Morgan who married Charles Taylor 14 Feb 1844 could have been
christened (or baptized) as an adult? Were adult christenings common?
