I am NOT on commission (!) but for an unusual forename and surname like angel it would
certainly be worthwhile contacting Clwyd FHS and seeking out the Dafydd Hayes marriage
index (on GenFair as well, I think) if Angel is one of the names you are interested in...
As I said, I would suggest to them that they search for variants which could include Ansel
(owing to mistranscription)...

Wow! Thank you very much for such a detailed reply. My interest in
the
ANGEL family stems from the fact that Mary, the daughter of Evan ANGEL
married Humphrey DANIEL 1 Jun 1764 at St Cadfan, Towyn. Humphrey was the
brother of Jeremiah DANIEL who is my husband John`s ancestor. We have spent
a day and a half at Dolgellau RO going through St Cadfan`s registers but
were not there long to look at the first register and only had time to
extract the DANIEL surname. We also have almost certainly missed one or
two.
