Keep an eye on the National Library of Wales website
www.llgc.org.uk as they will soon be
digitalised, I believe.
There is a paid digital service through the British Library
www.bl.uk.
There are a number of periodicals you could search and the local archives might be able to
suggest the best ones - if you know a religious affiliation, this can also help.
Yours,
Ian Thompson

Subject: Re: [MER] Newspapers
Recently we visited Dolgellau & Tywyn to research my husband John`s DANIEL
family. The Tywyn St Cadfal P Reg showed that GGrandfather Edward DANIEL
died as a result of a Gun accident and was buried 28 Aug 1856. We have
since received his Death certificate which confirms this. Does anyone know
whether there would be newspapers for this area and period available in
English to see if it was reported.
best wishes
