Sorry Ian, I only have the message you just sent and the message I sent. I don't
understand which two generations you are trying to link.
So much to learn, so much to do, so much to see, so little time.

What connects the two generations? No need to send the file but just a few words.

I have a copy of a document that is claimed to be a genealogy of
Rowland Ellis (Bryn Mawr, Merioneth, Wales). It shows that Rowland did have a son Thomas,
born May 27, 1683, Merioneth, Merionethshire, Wales; d. Jun 11, 1760, Gwynedd, Montgomery
County, Pennsylvania. He married Jane Hughes Oct 31, 1712 in Haverford MM (or Gwynedd MM)
Montgomery County, PA, daughter of John Hugh and Martha Caimot.
Children of Thomas Ellis and Jane Hughes are:
i. Eleanor Ellis, b. Jun 23, 1712, of Exeter, Berks County, Pennsylvania; d. Jan 2, 1801,
Exeter, Berks County, Pennsylvania; m. Thomas Lee, Feb 27, 1735/36, (or Oct 1736)
Southland MM, Pennsylvania.
ii. Jonathan Ellis, b. Jun 18, 1713, Oley, Berks County, Pennsylvania; d. 1750.Notes for
Jonathan Ellis: "John" one source says died abt 1713
iii. Morris Ellis, b. Sep 12, 1714, Olney, Berks County, Pennsylvania; d. Bet. 1714 -
1715, Olney, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
iv. Morris Ellis, b. Dec 8, 1715, Olney, Berks County, Pennsylvania; d. Fairfax,
Virginia; m. Sarah Coleston, Feb 26, 1736/37, Olney Valley, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
and more if you're interested. Contact me at jlatimer(a)yahoo.ca. I can forward the
file.
