Having seen the image you are almost right! It does say Parthelley, I
suspect that the Gle is actually GLA and the person was resident in or near
the county of Glamorgan.
Before 1911 what one gets in a census isn't what a person wrote on his or
her census form, but what the census collector transcribed it as on the
return to head office.
The census collector made a muck up of this one!
Having said that, and having looked at the shapes of the letters in the
transcription and compared it with similar muck ups that I have seen before,
I am 95% certain that the original said North Wales "Dolgelly" (Dolgellau
now).
