Is anyone on the list aware of this surname being Welsh? When I Googled the name Kyrk, it
states it is a name for a boy, of English origin, and means church. The person who
contacted me regarding this name said her father thought it was French but, after studying
French, she definitely doesn't think this is the case, and is wondering if it is Welsh
instead.
Could the name be Kirk? and is it a Welsh surname?
Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.
