The use of the word "Llan" often refers to the central point of a
parish which might include several houses and the church. While the
word llan is often used in relation to a church, it can also mean a
settlement, or cluster of dwellings.

Hello
I have some mid nineteenth century family member address references
of "Llan" in Llanfrothen and wonder if anyone can possibly tell me
whereabouts this might have been (or be)?
Thanks
