Colin, I wonder what is the name of your family who lived in these
places?
I
don't have access at present to my notes on my side of the family who
lived
here but the names Borthwen and Hen Siop ring a bell, although the family
did seem to move around the parish a bit. This side of my family were
Davies - the side I probably know least about. Some were slaters and
plasterers. Just in case there is a connection.
Gwyndaf, would you be able to describe their locations within the present
village to us, do you think?
Thanks very much
Rhian
