They all relate to Penmachno village. I thought about the possibility of half brother but
cannot locate a match showing Anne as parent with sons surname Richard and son with
surname Hughes? I think Cadwaladr could be a relatives child. On the 1871 census he
shows with the Hughes family as step son. I can trace a Cadwaladr Pierce with a family
Griffith and Ellinor in 1861 but he disappears in the 1871 census from that family?
Trying to see if there is a link between Anne and Ellinor/Griffith. I cannot find Anne as
Pierce with a Cadwaladr in any census but am looking at that avenue as well. Anne's
name formerly appears as Davies on their son John's birth cert. When I visited the
graves in Penmachno, Siloh chapel - Cadwaladr's grave is next to David and Anne (and
they lost a daughter Annie as well). Thanks for replying, I am going to keep searching
and if I find any more details will post on here. Thanks Bev
