Alwyn:
The article is titled "Gweithwyr Y Lein" and is part of a series published
by a newspaper (papur bro) in the Corwen-Ruthin area. I don't have the name
of the paper, only the cut out article.
The article on Dolgellau was included in the July 31, 1998 edition of the
paper.
There is a contact named who might be able to help you:
Eryl Edwards
Perthi,
Llanuwchllyn.
If you cannot find the article, I can photostat what I have and forward it
to you.
Regard
Ken Richards

The article has Hughie Humphreys (spelled thus) as signalman in Bontnewydd
and Olwen Humphreys as goods clerk at Dolgellau Goods. Are they your
parents?

Hughie Humphreys (he's old and respectable now and known more formally as
Hugh!) signalman at Bontnewydd, is indeed my father. Olwen Humphreys is not
my mother, but my cousin.
Can you tell me more about this article, where and when it was printed, etc.?
So that I can chase it up and find the other bits of it. I'm sure that they
would bring loads of treasured memories back to my parents
