The Ordnance Survey map for 1888 shows Fach Goch, or Fach-Goch, as a
farm. The same map also shows a Graig Fach-Goch (Fach-goch Rock)
above the farm.
The coordinates at Old-Maps (
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html) are:
260778 and 301556
The people who settled the area clearly liked the colours red and
blue - there area Dol Goch and Bryn Glas in the vicinity!

My great, great grandfather was born on 2 October 1815 at a place
called "Fach Goch" in Tywyn, Gwynedd, Wales. I looked Fach Goch up
on the Internet and it appears to be a small farm area near a
historic old railway. Is there anyone out there who could tell me
more about this location? Is it the name of a farm, or a
residence, or a community? Thank you in advance.
