1. Mrs. W.W. REESE, Died 8 Jun 1900, Parsons, PA, USA: Age 68 years; husband died
November 2, 1899 [William W. Rees' death was posted to Wales-Gen-L on 06 Aug 2002];
born at Berkenshire, South Wales; emigrated to the U.S. in 1863; survived by three sons,
A.D. Reese, Henry D. Reese and John D. Reese, all engaged in the grocery business at
Parsons.
2. Mrs. John (Margaret) JEWELL, Died 7 Jun 1900, Kingston, PA, USA: had only been
married for a few months; emigrated to the U.S. August 1899 from Aberdare, Wales and was
married in New York City soon after she landed; survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Griffith Watkins, Aberdare, Wales; and four brothers and two sisters - William G. of
Edwardsville, Evan of Bristol, England; Matthew, David, Mrs. Rachel Jenkins and Miss May,
all of Aberdare.
3. Mrs. William J. DAVIES, Died 17 Jun 1900, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Aged 38 years; died
of child birth and the baby also died; born in Rhendirmwyn, Wales; emigrated to the U.S.
20 years before; survived by her husband and three children - Mary, Emily and Miriam;
niece of Hon. Morgan B. Williams, Timothy Theophilus and Mrs. David Evans.
