1. William T. WILLIAMS, Died 16 May 1900, Hazleton, PA, USA: Aged 77 years; born in
Panty Calyn, South Wales, March 6, 1823; emigrated to the U.S. in 1892; survived by the
following children: John and Richard in Wales; William J. in Taylor; Mrs. George T.
Rowlins in London and Prof. Thomas J. Williams.
2. Mary E. EVANS, Died 18 May 1900, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Widow of the late John Evans;
born in Neath, South Wales; survived by the following children: L.L. Evans of New York
City; J.R. Evans of Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. R. Kenworthy, Mrs. R.C. John of this city, H.E.
Evans of Behee & Evans, Miss Florence K. and G.L. Evans, bookkeeper at the Record
office.
3. William NORRIS, Died 8 Jun 1900, West Pittston, PA, USA: Age 38 years; killed by a
premature blast at the Clear Spring mine; born in Cardiff, South Wales; emigrated to the
U.S. in 1865; survived by his wife, five children, and a brother, Charles of West
Pittston.
