Hi Jayne,
My suggestion to you would be to type in Davies, Llandudno, as that would
show, possibly, if your Davies family is mentioned in the Llandudno papers.
I have used the on-line source of the NLW and I have had success with my
family name in Trawsfynydd, this produced family trees, plus various other
records pertaining to this family. I was lucky that I have a cousin in
Wales who was able to go to the Library with the reference number I gave
him, and then he was able to get photocopies of the relevant data.
Good luck,

Does anyone know whether the subject papers would be useful to
research
ordinary people who lived in Llandudno in the 19th century? That's where
my
gg grandfather, Thomas DAVIES, born 1829, lived. These papers contain
all
kinds of
genealogical information, letters, pedigrees, wills, Welsh genealogies.
Several manuscripts are titled "Mostyn MS," so they probably refer to Lord
Mostyn and his influence on the Llandudno area.
Some are titled "Harleian MS," and some "Sir Thomas Phillipps
MS"--these
seem
to refer to Cardiff.
I accessed the page on which these sources are listed by typing
"Llandudno"
in the NLW search box.
