1. Thomas OWENS, Died 20 Sep 1900, Plymouth, PA, USA: Aged 47; born in Anglesea, North
Wales; unmarried; survived by two brothers, Richard of Wilkes-Barre and Benjamin, who
resides in Wales.
2. Rev. William L. EVANS, Died 26 Sep 1900, Plymouth, PA, USA: pastor of the Pilgrim
Congregational Church of Plymouth; died of typhoid fever; born on April 13, 1869, near
Caermarthenshire, South Wales; at age 19 years entered the Caermarthenshire College to
become a minister; after emigration to the U.S., he entered Yale College in 1890;
graduated in 1893; on June 2, 1898, Mr. Evans was married to Miss Gertrude Jones, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Jones of Plymouth. After the ceremony they visited at the old
home in Wales, where his aged parents, one brother and eight sisters survived.
3. Sarah WATERS, Died 10 Oct 1900, Larksville, PA, USA: wife of Thomas Waters; born in
Glamorganshire, South Wales, in 1839; emigrated to U.S. in 1870; survived by her husband
and the following children: Daniel of New Jersey; Mrs. James H. Evans, Forty Fort; Mrs.
Joseph Keller and Llewellyn, Plymouth Township; Mrs. Lewis Davis, Westmoor; Mrs. Bernard
Law and Mrs. Abner Robbins, Kingston.
