1. James W. JONES, Died 17 Oct 1900, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Age 42; native of
Pont-y-Berem, Carmarthenshire, Wales; also lived for several years at Pentre Ystrad,
Rhondda Valley; emigrated to U.S. 21 years before; in June his leg was amputated due to
blood poisoning; survived by a wife and nine children (not named).
2. William P. JONES, Died 3 Nov 1900, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Aged 53; native of Merthyr
Tydvil, Wales; emigrated to U.S. from Aberdare, Wales, in 1868; survived by his wife and
four daughters: Mrs. George Cook, Mrs. John A. Beck and Misses Eunice and Annie, at home;
and his brother, Peter P. Jones, of the Heights.
3. David PARRY, Died 20 Nov 1900, Plymouth, PA, USA: born in Abernaut, Wales; resident
of Plymouth for 22 years; survived by his mother, his wife, one son, Charles, and the
following sisters: Mrs. Charles Lake, Chicago; Mrs. Ann Thomas, Edwardsville; Mrs.
Margaret Evans, Olyphant; Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, Mahanoy City.
