1. George D. MORGANS, Died 15 Apr 1902, Ashley, PA, USA: Native of Cardiganshire, Wales;
born in 1837; survived by his wife and daughter, Mrs. George Cavil of the Heights, and
stepdaughter in Ashley, one brother in Wales.
2. Mrs. Mary DAVID, Died 23 Apr 1902, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Aged 86 years; born in
Baglan, Glamorganshire, South Wales, Sept. 12, 1816; maiden name was Miss Mary Thomas;
married to Evan J. David in Aberavon in 1837; had seven children, two still living; Mr.
David died in 1849; in 1880 emigrated to U.S. her two daughters, Ann and Jane; resided
with her daughter, Jane David, wife of Rees L. David of 54 Custer Street (where she died);
Jane died in 1893; also survived by one brother, Richard Thomas of Briton Ferry, and one
son John of Aberavon, both of South Wales; one daughter, Ann, wife of Lewis Lewis, and
grandchildren: Evan J. Thomas; Miss Mary H., Miss Sarah A., Evan J., William R. and
Arthur.
3. John DUKES, Died 28 Apr 1902, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: Aged 51 years; native of
Aberdare, Wales; survived by the following children: Mrs. Robert Miles, Mrs. William
Richard, Mrs. Herbert Hayden, Evan Dukes of Georgetown and John, at home.
