1. Mrs. Phillip WILLIAMS, Died 4 Aug 1896, Edwardsville, PA, USA: Aged 50 years;
survived by a husband and seven children - William, Mrs. John Davies, Annie, Martha, Jane,
John Elias, Joyce and Enoch; was a daughter of Rev. John Evans, Carndare, South Wales.
2. Mrs. David H. MORGAN, Died 7 Aug 1896, Kingston, PA, USA: 55 years old; born at
Rhymney, South Wales; came to U.S. about 24 years ago with her husband, settling at
Shamokin; married in August, 1862; Mr. Morgan is engaged as a bookkeeper at Edwards &
Co.'s.
3. Thomas B. DAVIS, Died 9 Aug 1896, Laurel Run, PA, USA: 67 years of age; born in
Bleanovon, Wales, Sept. 30, 1829; married at Tredegar, Wales, on the 5th of May, 1850;
came to U.S. in May, 1865; leaves a wife and one son and daughter, Thomas E. Davis,
tracklayer in the Empire, and Mrs. Sarah Ann Davis, married to William T. Davis,
tracklayer in the Red Ash colleries.
