1. Edward LEWIS, Died 23 Dec 1896, Scranton, PA, USA: 34 years old; survived by a wife
and one daughter, a year old; son of Thomas D. Lewis; born in Monmouthshire, South Wales.
2. Elizabeth Ann PACKER, Date of Death Not Shown, Plains, PA, USA: maiden name was
WILLIAMS, the daughter of William and Margaret Williams; mother died when Elizabeth Ann
was two years and six months old; father died when she was six years; father was one of
four victims of an explosion at the Prospect colliery; taken into the care of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas David Williams under their death; born Oct. 17, 1871; married David Packer Nov. 17,
1890; Thomas Thomas, ironmonger, Merthyr Tydfil, William Thomas and Evan Thomas,
ironmonger, Aberdare, and Edward Williams of Glen Neath were her uncles on her
mother's side.
3. Thomas D. MORGAN, 30 Jan 1897, Wilkes-Barre, PA, USA: aged 50 years; emigrated to
U.S. from Carmarthanshire, South Wales, 30 years ago; survived by one brother, Morgan D.
of New Market street, and four sisters - Mrs. Elizabeth James of Wales, Mrs. W.H. Williams
of South Sherman street, Mrs. James D. Jones of Northampton street and Mrs. John M. Davis
of New Market street, at whose home he died.
