Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

==================================
This is advanced notification to you that most of RootsWeb will be off-line
on the morning of Thursday 19th January while we shift servers between NOCs.
A message to this effect has been loaded to the announcements on the
HelpDesk, http://helpdesk.rootsweb.com/.
The Message Boards and WorldConnect are both services that are already at
the new location so these services will not be off-line, ie. they will be
fully functional.
The time of the shift will be 12am through 6am Utah time (MST), ie.
up to six hours in duration.
This equates to
US and Canada 2am EST, 1am CST, 11pm PST
UK/GMT 7am
NZ 8pm
Aus 6pm AEDT, 5.30pm ACDT, 5pm AEST, 4.30pm ACST, 3pm AWST Other time zones
you will have to work out for yourselves.
Mail sent to lists during this time should spool (wait) at your ISP or the
message boards server for our mail servers to come back online. For this
short down time, none should bounce (Note that it is a 'should' statement)
[I considered sending this to the announcement list, however, considering
the short outage time and the amount of notification, so many probably won't
see it or notice that it happened.]
Happy to answer any questions, though there is not much extra to say, beyond
that the new NOC will be better and allow for easier intervention with and
restarting of servers when they are being contrary. :-)

Hi Jenny
I can't find Eryre Terrace in my copy of the 1891 census.
Either I don't have all of the pages for Penrhyndeudraeth or it is outside
of the Penrhyn village.
I have 35 pages (1-35) and am sure that was all that had "Town or Village or
Hamlet" listed as Penrhyndeudraeth.
So you sill have a chance if someone can get access to the rest of the 1891
census.
Have you tried the 1901 census on-line?
Cheers
Allan

Through my research of the Richards in Llanymawddwy, I have found Jane (Richard) Jones on the 1851 census, age 62 living with daughter and son-in-law Jane & Evan Jones and their 2 daughters Ann & Mary and on the 1861 census a son David has been born. I would like very much to correspond with anybody who has done some research on this family, as I believe Jane's father could very well be a brother or cousin to my gggrandfather Evan Richards. Evan was born 1798 in Llanymawddwy. The marriage between Evan Jones and Jane Jones would maybe show the father's name and also the baptism of Jane Richard would help. Thank you very much

Hello Gwen,
I have looked again at the emails you have sent me re: Evans Tynddol but I
cannot find any birth dates for the other Evans children Evan, Hugh, Grace
etc. and I would be very pleased to have them. I hope you get the certificate
you want on Tuesday. I, too, am waiting for a certificate on my own side also
in MER. It's been a long time getting here, days longer than usual, and I
feel as though everything is on hold until it arrives!

Judith,
I have the death certificate for Jane Evans on order. According to the order
summary details it was supposed to be dispatched on 13 June 2006 so I should
have it probably in Tuesday. Usually if I've given them the wrong reference
they let me know soon after they receive the order online. So it looks good
for her certificate!
I also have the birth certificate for her daughter Margaret ordered but it
is not scheduled to ship till Jan 18th so I'm not confident yet that I got
the correct reference. We'll see.
Did I send you the birth dates for the other Evans children Evan, Hugh ,
Grace etc?
If not, tell me.

I was in touch with Laura the other day and she says she has contacted the

Thanks to Arfor, I was able to bring up the 1861 & ''71 Merioneth census. My great grandfather was found living in 1861 at TY CAPEL (or F) Elam and in 1871 at BODMILURE. I think these are the name of the dwellings, am I right?
Is there anyone out there that can tell me anything about these names from Penrhyndraedrath, Merioneth.
Thanks,
Jenny
Hi Gwen
It looks to me as if it is in Llanuwchllyn parish. Go to the Streetmap site and put in Fron Gastell. Wouldn't be surprised if they weren't on the parish transcriptions, a lot of that family aren't there. Probably married in a non conformist chapel. They seemed to switch back & forth.

Dear Listers,
I am looking for the marriage of Rhobert CADWALADR and Marged or Margaret.
My information states that she was from or of Frongastell. I have looked
through the transcription of Llanuwchllyn Parish and don't find the
marriage. Can anyone tell me where the above farm is located so I could
check the PRs for that place. The marriage would have taken place about 1759
. The first child I found was baptised in Llanuwchllyn in July of 1760.
Thanks for your time.
