Ancestry.com offered a free 14 day trial. They allowed you to download their
family tree program. Mary and I being "Green"as grass at the genealogy game
got caught up in tour preparations and a 3 day visit to Wales where her
cousin and husband would take us to Cynwyd and Bala. Her parents birthplace
and marriage in Bala. I forgot to cancel before the 14 day trial period.
"Surprise", when we got back to Canada (Vancouver) we had been charged
$192.00 Canadian. I put my own name in their 1.2 Billion names and they
couldn't even find "Me". Their Family Tree Program looks good but as I said
we are "New" at this search routine. Bill and Mary.

I was very glad to see Bill Jordan's message about Family Tree
Maker! I
was
given this as a present, and I was beginning to wonder why nobody
mentioned
it.
