I think you may find the 1861 census index on:
www.amlwchdata.co.uk
With a name like Jones, it will be hard to piece together the household.
I know because I have some Jones. You will have to see if your first
names are on the same page, and that suggests PERHAPS they are in the
same household.
You also might find something in the various trade directories on that
web site also.

Subject: [ANG] Jones in 1861 Census
Could somebody with access to the 1861 census please be very kind and
look
up a family for me?
The family were definitely in Anglesey, almost certainly in the parish of
Llanidan and most probably in the village of Bryndrain.
The details that I am hoping to find include:
Richard Jones head age 39
Grace " wife age 45
various children including Elinor, Mary, Hugh, Owen, but most
importantly:
Richard Jones son age 9 (or thereabouts)
I really need to find the younger Richard Jones to confirm the link with
the
older Richard and Grace.
I have many records about the younger Richard, and some separate family
records about the older Richard and Grace, but nothing yet that proves
the
older Richard is the younger Richard's father.
