Does the given name IOWERTH have any other form/evolution?
Is there a web site where the different forms of Welsh names can be
found? I know that many have evolved in time.

Traditional Welsh given name composed of elements 'ior' (lord) + a
mutated form of obsolete word 'berth' (beautiful, handsome). In the
'Mabinogion' Iorwerth was the jealous brother of Madawg, son of
Maredudd. Edward came to be regarded as the English equivalent of
Iorwerth and has tended to replace Iorwerth. Gervase was used for
Iorwerth in medieval official papers. The present-day diminutive of
Iorwerth is usually Iorri.
The following selection illustrates the variety of spelling
(corruptions) of 'Iorwerth' in various manuscripts:
Ereward, Erwerth, Iarword, Iereward, Ierueriod, Ieruerod, Ieruod,
Ierward, Ierwerth, Ierwith, Iewerth, Iorath, Ioreuerth, Ioroth,

(The above book, which is still in print, is probably the best
historical survey of how Welsh surnames came about and as such it
lists the various forms of Welsh given names and how they developed
into surnames.)
