Hello Nick
It seems that at least three generations of the Senogles family were living
in Menai Bridge. DAVID SENOGLES died about fifteen?? years ago. HAROLD
SENOGLES, possibly his father, died in 1972. Both were Accountants in
practice in Bangor, and were well known as local historians and committee
members of the Anglesey Antiquarian Society.
At Llandysilio Churchyard ('Church Island') is a grave with the following
names:
GEORGE WILLIAM SENOGLES, d. 14 Sept 1928, aged 55
ISABELLA SENOGLES, his wife, d. in CANADA, 30 June 1955, aged 80
GEORGE WILLIAMSON SENOGLES, 2nd son of the above, d. 9 Sept 1905, aged 4 2/3
years.
Kind regards.
David Price, Bangor.

Please could someone have a look up for a George William Senogles
and
his family who lived in Mona Road,Menai Bridge,Gwynedd. He was the first
conductor of the Menai Bridge Band Porthaethwy during the 1890's. Any
information will be appreciated.
many thanks nick.
As Senogles is a Manx name, and there was nobody with that surname in Wales
in 1881, I wonder if the 8 year old son in this Manx record from 1881, might
be him?
If it is not, with such a rare name, he is possibly related.
