Here is a link to a fairly new project, which I can't remember being
mentioned on these lists before
http://www.britishwargraves.org.uk/
The site is a volunteer project which aims to document the graves and
memorials of British Servicemen and women since the beginning of World War 1.
Including those killed in recent conflicts and Peacekeeping Operations.
You can search the site by surname or military unit to find a picture of a
war grave, headstone or memorial.
As with all volunteer projects the site warmly welcomes new helpers or anyone
who wishes to submit information to the site.
There are not many submissions from our part of the world at the moment, so I
would encourage anybody who has information about a family member who died in
a war, and those who can spare a few moments to visit their local cemetery to
photograph the war graves which are there, to visit this site and offer their
services.
All the best
Alwyn
