The John Elias who was the great CM preacher died in 1840 in Fron Llangefni.

Was this the John ELIAS who was a famous non-Conformist (?WCM) preacher?
Right area, right name, but I'm unsure of "the preacher's" dates. If
so,
there was a *big* writeup of his funeral procession (& obit) -
'thousands' lined the streets.
I *think* I have a v. distant link to 'Parch' John ELIAS.
