Hello Bill Rowlands,
You don't have to live in the area to help with the project - Australia is
close enough to help these days..
The sooner you start with the work the sooner St. Michael's churchyard,
Llanrug will be complete.
Many hands make light work.
Regards,
Stan.
Gwynedd FHS.

Subject: [CAE] Gwynedd Projects
Hello Listers
In his recent e-mail message Alwyn asked what listers could do, if
anything, to
help with any projects being undertaken by Gwynedd FHS.
Wearing my Joint Projects Officer hat, the ongoing project in Arfon is the
recording of memorial inscriptions for which we obviously need the "physical
presence" but there is also a need for volunteers to do the typing work so
anyone with the use of a computer and a little time on their hands would be
very welcome. This need not be to type the whole of the recording for a
particular churchyard - just one section would be a great help.
If there is anyone in our area who would be able to give some time to the
actual
recording, please let us know. We have St. Michael's Llanrug to
complete - this has been on the go for some time and I would really like the
recording to be completed this summer if possible. Another big project is
Glanadda cemetery in Bangor. Our member, David Price, has been working on
this by himself and would dearly like some assistance (wouldn't you David?).
Please contact either myself or Gwyndaf Williams if you can help in any way.
Best regards
Yvonne
