My maternal great great grandfather, Rowland Williams, the son of William and Jane Owen,
was baptised at Llanedwen on September 28th 1794. On June 3rd 1816, he married Laura
Roberts at Llanrug. Their children were as follows: William baptised 1817 and died in
infancy, Richard baptised 1818, who died unmarried aged 30, Jane baptised 1820, Anne
baptised 1822, Grace baptised 1824, William baptised 1826, Owen baptised 1828, Catherine
baptised 1833, Rowland, my great grandfather, was baptised in 1835, Daniel baptised 1837,
and Laura baptised 1842. Laura married Griffith Jenkins at Llanrug in 1865, they had two
sons, Richard W, and William W. Griffith Jenkins died in 1870. My great grandfather
Rowland Williams, married his first wife, Eleanor Thomas in 1859. They had a daughter
named Ann. Between 1861 and 1871, Eleanor died. As yet, I have no idea of what became of
their daughter. Rowland married Ellen Davenport at Bangor in 1883, and I am descended from
that marriage. Would anyone who reads this, and is connected in anyway to the family,
please contact me at: abergele1754(a)hotmail.co.uk. Iorwerth Selwyn
A friend of mine is researching his ancestors to the above places on
Anglesey.
If there is anyone else on this list researching families to there, be in
touch and I'll put you in touch with my friend.
