Cape Wrath 75 days overdue on passage from Callao to Astoria
Left Cardiff at the beginning of the 1900 bound for Mauritius
Left Callao after trading around various ports
Believed to have foundered on the Pacific coast during recent storms
Steel barque of 2000 tons owned by Dominion Shipping Company of Liverpool
It is described in the Dundee Courier as a "Glasgow vessel" from Greenock
Can't see any more in newspapers but there is a report on the loss here

The ship seems to have just disappeared in a storm with all hands lost
(30).
There is a full list of the crew lost. Griffith Jones was 1st Mate
