I have had a little look at the Great Session records, but decided it was going to take
some time to find out how to make best use of them. We usually arrange a week at the NLW
in August, and I go with someone who swears by them, researching in GLA, and is always
talking about what you can find in the Docket books.

Dear list,
I wonder if anyone has any experience of using the records of the Court of
Great Sessions for Caernarfonshire in the National Library and can share any
tips or their experience?
Best wishes,
Ian Thompson
