I have a couple of MADREN ancestors from Amlwch who were Mariners /sailors
from the Parish register. Also from Aled Eames book 'Ships and seamen of
Anglesey'.
Would that be enough information for them to be included on your Index.?

Our website at
www.welshmariners.org.uk will shortly be updated. The
number of men present will be over 20,500, these are almost entirely
Masters, mates and engineers although ordinary mariners found in the
National Probate Calendar are being included.
Anyone wishing to contribute personal information about their Gwynedd
mariners for
inclusion in the website is welcome to do. This can be a great
help in discriminating the men from each other, given the common names they
usually held.
