Thank you. I believe that the family would have originated in Lincolnshire,
since the only place of that name is in that county, though at the moment I
am gathering all the pieces I can of the jigsaw, wherever they may be, with
pieces near to Anglesey being especially of interest. It certainly makes a
nice change form the Jones and Williams.

That sounds like an English name I heard in a parish in Lincolnshire

from there? Near the remnants of an old abbey that is near St. Leonards
Church, I think. Tattersall or somewhere in where the fens were. Does
