There is 'Hen-durnpike' near Tregarth on the present-day Ordnance
Survey 1:25,000 map.
Hen = old. The borrowed English word 'turnpike' would mutate to
'durnpike' after 'Hen'; Turnpike was also transliterated into
'tyrpeg' or possibly 'tyrpaig' (again the initial 't' would mutate
to
'd').
For the location go to
http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/
Click on the blue rectangular panel on the bottom right to accept the
conditions.
Type in the grid reference SH609676 on the search page.
You will be presented with either a section of the Ordnance Survey
1:25,000 or 1:50,000 maps. (The blue grid lines are 1 km apart.) You
can zoom in or out as you wish.
