Hello Sandra,Martin and Sue
Can I just clear up some confusion here.
The Chaple that Martin refers to and is pictured in the link still stands
( at least when I went past yesterday!!!) It is Ebenezer MC ( Methodist
Calvinist).
It stands in the village now know as Deiniolen. The village used to be known
as Ebenezer to early 1900's at least. It is in the parish of Llanddeiniolen,
in the County of Caernarfon and is only one of many villages in that parish.
(Sue, your has ancestors small farmstead is situated high above the
village.
It has an adjoining village called Clwt y Bont. Rather sadly, four Chaples
in these two villages have been demolished. They were Disgwylfa (MC),
Ysgoldy ( MC), Maes y Dre( MC I think) and Tabernacle ( Wesleyan ).The only
Baptist chaple ( That I'm aware of) in the area is called Libanus. (Martin
in your research in that area you may very well be refering to one of these)
Going to your original query Sandra. The parishes you mention are some 30-40
miles away in the County of Anglesey.
In order that the list members may help you further could you expand on what
it says on the certificate.Date etc. Depending on when it was it should say
' solemnized at... in the district of..... in the county of....
Hope this helps

There is an Ebenezer near Deiniolen. This church has now been
demolished
but not sure if it was Baptist
