I think this short series has been shown previously in Wales but on BBC2
network next week so the rest of us have a chance to see it. The first two
programmes are on the Welsh Highland Railway.
It's on four evenings during the week at the same time.
DOCUMENTARY: Welsh Railways: Full Steam Ahead
On: BBC 2 Scotland (02)
Date: Monday 28th January 2013 (starting in 1 day)
Time: 19:00 to 19:30 (30 minutes long)
In April 2011 Wales's newest and most ambitious railway - the Welsh Highland
Railway in Snowdonia - was completed. For the many hundreds of volunteers
who worked tirelessly for little more than the love of steam, it was a dream
come true. Full Steam Ahead tells the story of this challenging, and at
times controversial, project. Volunteers, benefactors and a vast collection
of friends and supporters helped in the remarkable feat of turning a
run-down industrial railway into one of the modern wonders of Wales.
